Mormons are not big into wearing crucifixes, which offends a lot of Christians.   The reason that they do not, is not that they're trying to diminish the figure of Jesus, but that the act of crucifixion is so horrible.   Wearing a crucifix is no less disgusting to them as wearing a little electric chair as a necklace.

Just curious, are you a Mormon? The reason I ask is because I don't think that's the reason they do not wear crucifixes but the fact they want to focus in the fact that Jesus Christ is resurrected while the crucifixes remembers him "dead".
